Rotary International
Study in: USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Uganda.

Each year, Rotary selects up
to 90 peace and development leaders from around the world to receive fully
funded academic fellowships to pursue a Professional Development Certificate
Program or Masters Degree Program related to peace and conflict resolution and
prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA,
Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Uganda).

The Rotary Peace Scholarship
Program has been introduced to gather future leaders of change from all over
the world and to provide them with advanced global networking opportunities. In
order to fulfill its mission, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than
1500 fellows from different corners of the world.

Ø  Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
USA: Master of International Development Policy Program (MIDP) or various
degrees offered by the University of North Carolina

Ø   International Christian University, Japan: Master’s Degree
in Peace Studies

Ø  University of Bradford, England: Advanced Practice in
Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution MA

Ø  University
of Queensland
, Australia: Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPACS)

Ø  Uppsala University, Sweden: Peace and Conflict Studies

Ø  Makerere
, Uganda (certificate program): Post-Graduate Diploma in Peace
and Development Studies

Important Note: Fellowship recipients may not study at a Rotary
Peace Center in their home country, with the exception of candidates from
Uganda, who may attend the center at Makerere University.

Eligibility Criteria of Rotary Peace
Fellowship Program 2024-25:

Ø  The candidates must be proficient in English.

Ø  The candidates must have an extraordinary record of
building projects.

Ø  The candidates must be able to exhibit their
academic achievements as well as the record of personal or community service.

Ø  The students who are pursuing for master’s degree
must have completed their bachelor’s degree.

Ø  For master’s students, at least three years of
relevant experience is required starting from the date of their most recent
degree to the start of the fellowship program.

Ø  Candidates who are currently enrolled in
undergraduate or graduate degree programs are not eligible.

Ø  The candidates who are applying for the certificate
program must have fulfilled all the above requirements, however, the experience
required for these candidates is of five years.

Ø  The certificate candidates must be able to explain
their plan of action.

Ø  Candidates with disability are encouraged to apply.

Ø  The candidates who have attended a certificate
program or a global grant scholarship must have a three-year gap before
applying for a master’s under this fellowship.

Ø  Active Rotary members, employees of the Rotary Club,
Rotary International, or other Rotary entities are ineligible.

How to Apply for Rotary Fellowship 2024?

Ø  The candidates have to submit their applications to
the Rotary Foundation online.

Ø  Provide all the relevant documents.

Ø  Submit your endorsement online from the fellowship
subcommittee till 1st July.

Ø  The confirmation of receiving the endorsement and
application will be sent.

Rotary Fellowship Application Deadline:

Ø  The application deadline is 15th May 2023.
